Condensation in headlamp

Do any of you 4G owners have experience in resolving condensation in your headlamps?
i had this one replaced in march of 2015...it's now suddenly acting up
Called the dealer and the parts dept did suggest replacing the hid gasket, drl/high beam gasket, and the hid unit gasket. Figured it is worth the trouble. However, if it is the seal on the lens, I'll need a real remedy, not a bake off in the oven 😎

Thanks!

Maybe this...

https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-p...ousing-931842/

I think there there is a hairline crack somewhere. I had a crack on one of my fogs and turn signal lights and I have lamin-x'ed them. I plan to do the the head lights in the spring.

Thank you for the link.
I did look for hairline cracks...and found nothing obvious.
If its the seal around the lens...how long and at what temp are we to "warm" the headlamp housing to peel off the lens? I'll try it.

The condensation is down by the DRL bulb corner by the grille. I pulled the bulb out of the socket and left the car home today.....and will leave it home for a few days to let it dry out.

If I was a betting man, and if I knew you lived in Canada (or any northern climate where winters get cold), I say you likely do have a crack. Acura headlights can't seem to handle cold. A number of us have gotten the same vertical crack at the outside edge of the HID lens. Like in this picture:

I do live in the colder region.....I'll have to look again

IF this lens is cracked...do I just go to Bernardi Acura for the part? Im assuming it comes with a new igniter and complete. I do have the service manual on hand, so ill read up on the removal of the bumper cover to service this lamp.

Appreciate the help!

you'll need to buy the WHOLE headlight assembly

you can re-use igniter, ballast

Acura Parts | Genuine Acura OEM Parts | Acura Parts Cheap
Acura Parts | OEM Acura Parts | Factory Acura Parts

both are sponsored vendors for Acurazine

if you didnt care about OEM, you could grab a brand new aftermarket headlight from Ebay.

you could also try a junk yard to get one used.

Fun fact - The high beam bulb gasket was not on the headlamp
Thus - perhaps with the extremely high level of humidity last week made the issue noticeable. Ive never seen the condensation before last week.
This lamp has only been on the car for a year or so...was replaced at the dealer when I purchased the TL.
Thanks to you guys for your help!
