Coin Tray Removal

I'm trying to run a module inside my coin tray at the center console. I like to know if there's a diagram where I can remove the bezel trims running along the both side. Hope someone can help me out.

Thanks

That's my badge holder! Coins? What are those things?

If that trim is like the 3G, you need a trim tool or putty knife with tape on the blade to protect the parts.. start at the rear most section and pry the trim up gently but with a bit of force to pop the trim out, working your way slowly towards the dash.

And don't do it in the winter.

Get that cabin up to a nice 90 degrees or so, and you'll find things much more forgiving. If you have to put more than finger/wrist force behind it, you're in the wrong place; and those little clips will snap pretty easily, leaving you with pop and creak noises galore after reassembly. I usually throw a little wd40 or a dab of vaseline on the tension joints when I have that stuff apart to keep the noise factor down.

Yes I like to take that out and run the wire inside through the coin tray. Wondering if there is a diagram for that. Thanks

So I guess start from the shifter section and work my way up to the dash right?

I am so lost on this one.

So you want to remove the soft thing to put a coin tray there?

Is it from acura this coin tray?

my 3G had a stock mount location for a coin tray. It housed my quarters, dimes and nickles.

The coin tray is between the shifter and the control knobs in the center console. I'm trying to run my Tein EDFC module inside the coin tray. Right now my EDFC module is hanging with velcro under my steering column. I saw a simple diagram that there is a screw right beneath the vertical bezel trim. So I'm trying to see how easy or hard to take out the bezel trim so I can get into the screw from the coin tray.

look like you might have to take the center console off first.

Ya I saw that diagram as well. I dunno where to start. I assume take off the side bezel trim then take the center console....
