Hi I got a 10 acura tl SH . this morring I turn on my engine and the light indecater on , on my dashboard .one for check SH systems and one for airbag system , I have Takeda/j-pipe/tein basic/black out lights front and back on my car I call the dealer to make appointment on this monday comein up, do they VOID YOUR WARRANTY if you have that done to your TL ? Or how can I fix that problem? Your help will be preciate.....

 

Start checking fuses. Have you pulled your battery yet to reset ECU? Make sure you have nav code first...

Any recent work to the car? Maybe a sensor connector popped loose.

Any modification to the car gives them an excuse to blame it on you and not honor the warranty. Technically, if they can't prove it, then you're stuck arguing with them, without a car or a car in good order anyway, while you sort it out.

Check all connections and fuses; code reader is a god send.

 

I chheck all fuse alredi it good ,all I'm doing is drop it with tein based/ Takeda / j-pipe/ hi flow cat, but that like 4 month ago , it was fine for 4 month just happen this morning. How do you get your nav code? What is a navi code?

 

Is it Check SH-AWD and Airbags or Check SHAWD and ABS system?

If it's ABS and not airbag, then it's a wheel speed sensor that is the problem and acura can't blame any of your modifications. Acura can ONLY void your warranty IF the aftermarket part causes the problem.

Like you put on the takeda intake, if a month later the power seat breaks the dealer can't blame the intake since it has no connection to the power seat.

Like I said though; dont expect to get away from it without a fight. Being legal and being cooperative are two different things.
