Climate Control Self Diagnostic Function

I am using the Climate Control Self Diagnostic Function and getting code "i" and "mode"

This error sequence is not in the service manual, anybody run across this? I guess I will need to see if the HDS will show what it is

From Service Manual

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Are you sure you're reading the code correctly? Each individual lit segment corresponds to a letter, it doesn't spell out a particular letter, so how are you getting the letter "i"?

Are you seeing segments E, J, F, or K lit? Multiple lit segments are a possibility too, just nothing corresponding to "i". "i" isn't even an option.

Thanks for the video - Yep, I just overlaid two frames of your video just to see which segment was being lit up, and turned the opacity down to 20% on the fully lit "8" just to see which segment was lit.

Looks like segment E + MODE which corresponds to the error "An open or short in the passenger's mode control motor circuit"
