12 TL AWD 6MT 120k
Battery is 2 weeks old and fully charged
Was working fine now getting the error.
If I hold the starter down for an extra second it starts up fine.
Where should I start?

check battery cables to see if they are corroded. check all grounds for corrosion.

 

Thanks there was what looked to be an aftermarket positive terminal and it didn't quite fit to the bottom of the post.

Was super tight and no corrosion but I may try to order a new terminal to start with.

What other reasons would That warning come on for? Starter going bad?

yes, if the error says check starting system...could be the starter
could also be the alternator.

i would be inclined to check more of the battery cables and grounding cables first tho

 

I just start getting this issue too. A month old battery as well. How did you end up solving it?

 

check your alternator

 

You can use multimeter to check it.
