Check Air Bag System Warning
Check Air Bag System Warning
Hello
I am at about 105,000 KM here in Canada on a 2009 Acura TL FWD and just last few days I randomly get a "Check Air Bag System" warning pop up, it will go away when the car turns off, and then back on again randomly as I am in the middle of driving, so its not constantly on from the time I start up the car.
Anyone have this message come up? Whats it mean? What could be the issue? Any help would be great! Thanks!

The easiest thing to do is to check the condition of your battery. Low battery voltage may cause intermittent failures, not only for the airbags, but for other things too. If your battery is ok, then its way better to go to a dealer and ask them to plug in their diagnostic computer to figure this one out. The system is so complex that its impossible to figure it out without the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS).
PS. For a 2009, if you still have the OEM battery, I think its time for a new battery, regardless.
