Another light gone

Having just replaced both fogs last summer (one with a hole, and the other so they'd match) and my passenger headlight at the same time, I've just noticed condensation in my driver's side headlight, owing to what appears to be a decent crack. That's after already having replaced a fog two years ago.

If you ask me, the real cost of owning this vehicle is the lights. Of course, that's in large part due to the road crush they put down here in the winters.

Makes me miss the sealed beams in my old pontiac, which I could replace myself, and for a cost of maybe $15.

I have nothing to say that isn't critical and/or insulting.

All I'm gonna say is that you're probably alone on this one.

Sounds like you need to use some clear lamin-x on your fogs / headlights.

I have no doubt I'm alone on this. My post was meant to convey my particular bad luck. I certainly don't think many others have gone through as many lights as I have, nor was I suggesting that the Acura lights were somehow more delicate or defective.

Yes. I actually recevied my Lamin-x shipment last fall...too late to do the fogs, and I purposely held off on the headlights, as I had read so much about "crazing". In retrospect, I should have just applied to the headlights. Even if it didn't stop the damage, the crazing (if that is likely) wouldn't have had an opportunity to set in. Hindsight is 20/20 after all.
