4G Acura TL

Swapped out the air filter for the first time and prior to removing any screws from the air filter box, i noticed a cable was stuck in between the air filter box. Cable looks kinda damaged, does anyone know what this is for?

 

i dont know what that conduit is for, but i would guess that just the conduit itself was a little damaged, just put some electrical tape on it and you should be fine...
