Rear Windows fogging

I live in North East and during the winter time when two or more people are traveling both rear windows get fogged up. Am I doing something wrong for this to happen.
When I run the defrost then usually i clears up front glass and two front windows, but not the rear one.
Any help would be appreciated.

Oh come on, that's your excuse for fogging up the rear windows?

there's two defrost buttons, one for front, and one for rear (sure, it's obvious, but making sure) as the rear defogger works great in mine.

Tried popping the moonroof open to equalize the temperature/humidity in a crunch?

Have you checked the fuse and relay for the rear defogger?

i think the OP meant the 2 rear side windows. i have that issue when ppl are in the back sometimes.

OP, i just point the vents at the front to blow air towards the back of the car. the only solution is to make sure air gets back there.

The front defrost button will clear up the front windshield and the 2 front side-windows.

The rear defrost button will only clear up the rear windshield.

There is nothing to clear up the 2 rear side-windows, other than lower them down full.

Thanks for all your replies, as I said when two people are travelling ( or Driving),
I mean there should be some setting to clear up the two rear door windows not the rear windshield. I am not complaining but checking if other people faced similar situation and whats sort of solution. As far as the 2011 TL, the car runs great there are not issues with it.

fastest way is to crack open the windows.
slower way is to just point the vents at the front towards the back. it does get rid of the fogging, but it's slow.

i havnt found any other solution. u could try some anti fog spray?

Use the "Automatic" climate control. The A/C will act as a Dehumidifier, and will keep your windows clear. I've not had any issues with fogging in my car, but i also am always using the Auto Climate control.

Pardon my ignorance, I am new to TL. There is a auto button on top of driver side temp adjustment. When I press that a auto text shows up on the dashboard display. Is that what you mean when you said put the system in auto.

Yup, that's exactly what i mean, the Auto button is the Automatic Climate Control. It will turn on and off your A/C when needed, you won't even know what it's doing, but it maintains temp and humidity levels in your car.

+1 for the Auto setting. If you just let it do its thing, its programmed with good logic and does a good job regulating the temperature and keeping the interior dry to prevent fogging. I haven't touched the climate controls since I bought the car 3 years ago through winter and summer.
