Dealer wants $1,600 to change it. Can l buy one on Ebay for $300 and do it myself and do l need to bleed the breaks after!

 

You will need a scan tool to do the neutral position reset for the VSA system, no programming needed really. You will have to bleed the brakes.

 

DMASS777, What were your symptoms to lead you to think your abs module is bad?

 

l had abs, vsa and check abs light come on. The are still on right now!

 

Did you check your Wheel Sensors? My VSA and ABS lights are on and they said I need to replace right wheel sensor.

 

Writing in this thread bc our 2013 TL has the dash lit up with warning lights. Mechanic and then dealer couldn’t find anything wrong. Dealer called Acura National they suggested fixes that didn’t work. They say “likely “ bad VSA and replacement costs $1800, and they don’t know it will solve problem. My mechanic disconnected the VSA module to see if he could clear the dash errors. No luck. He admitted he doesn’t know much about VSA, but now that nothing cleared with VSA disconnected I’m not sure what to do. Don’t want to spend $1800 on something that might do nothing but the car is basically junk if not fixed. Hoping someone has experienced this.

 

Any chance your battery is bad or failing? A failing battery can light up the dash like that.
