How many 2010 owners are replacing lights?. I asked because wife's rear turn signal went out.

i think hes asking is it common for lights to blow out.

mine didnt blow out, i just changed it out to different ones to suit my needs.. im sure alot of members here did the same..

 

Incandescent filament bulbs (like the one that just blew for you) are an 1879 invention by Mr Thomas Edison, as such filament bulbs have no place in today's automobile, epecially "ADVANCE" ones like our TL's. Replace with LED's wherever possible, they will outlive the car upon which they are installed - and they look a thousand time better.

 

Exactly...Just thought it was a tad early to be replacing lights...

Owned 3 TLs (2nd, 3r and now 4th Gen). No issue with lights at all except the recently acquired 2012 TL having some issue with interior lights after trying to replace the Trunk Light with LED. Now, no Trunk Light and no lights on some middle interior lights.

 

you....... need to go to dealer asap..


lights blow out, they are not perfect. if it goes out, it goes out... its not expensive so im sure you can afford 5 bux.
