Half ass work. Once again...
So I have a base 09 TL. I bought a spoiler on ebay and I brought it to my local body shop for paint and install. Well the paint looks pretty close. Grigio is what I have. A bit more metallic but nothing drastic. However the install is not acceptable. This is an OEM lip spoiler which has 6 fasteners. 3 small bolts and 3 push-pins w/ grommets. Well they did not even bother with the 3 pins. Those are necessary because you can't access those hole locations from the inside. Well I immediately noticed that the spoiler ends were not sitting flush. He said that it is just how it is, nothing could be done. Well once I got home is when I discovered that the pins were not used. So Im about to call them right now and raise hell! They are going to do this right while I wait this afternoon. Anyway, just needed to vent. This is exactly why Im so doubtful of having someone else work on my car! What does it take to get solid work out of someone these days!
Thanks for listening fellow TL owners.

was this a shop you regularly go to? or some new shop you just happen to find just to do your work.
Just a tip for you..
never shop around for a body shop.. always go by recommendations..
because when you shop around... your just randomly guessing who is good.. as to a hook up where your friend or family knows that person and can gaurantee his work. and if shit goes wrong, they will most of the time do everything to help out without question.. because they know someone you know that recommended you.
if it was some random shop, they could just brush it off their shoulders and tell you, "thats the way it is man"

haha judging from your other post.. its not the shop that did the bad job.. you just had bad judgement on buying a replica rear spoiler..
dont blame the shop because of your mistake.

The spoiler was Honda OEM. On the underside Honda is shown in raised letters in the plastic. The box has the Honda factory part number. Why it's different than the factory installed is beyond me. Anyway...
