2012 TL SH-AWD Heater issues?
Hello,
I have recently purchased a 2012 TL SH-AWD. I have noticed that when my temperature is set to 75 degrees that the air coming from the vents is still cool. It seems the max heat is 86 and the min cool is 58 so 72 would be the midpoint. If I crank the air up to 86 the car gets hot as expected. I would think that I should feel hot air from the mid point and higher.
The only reason I am posting is because my wifes Ford Fusion can be set to 74 degrees and hot air is blowing. Not the slightest hint of cool air.
Is this a problem?

No its not a problem the car uses that outside temperature and determines what that 75 degrees in the car should be. For example if its 65 outside and you set the temperature to 75 the sensor determines whether it needs to blow cool or hot air to make the cabin 75 degrees.
The actual number you choose doesn't refer to an actual degree of temperature, more of a scale. Your climate control uses interior air temp exterior air temp and a sun load sensor that determines temperature, blower speed, and vent mode. Even with auto off, the middle won't be Luke warm, it's just not designed that way.
