2012 SH-AWD auto fresh ATF flush

I just flushed my atf fluid yesterday since my oil change was due I decided to knock the atf out as well and rotate my tires.
I did notice that my transmission sometimes had rough or sluggish shifts.also whenever shifting from reverse to drive there was a transition that didn't feel so smooth.

I don't know if its a placebo effect or not but the car feels much smoother on shifts. Even when changing from reverse to drive its much smoother.

I inspected the magnetic atf drain plug and it had a layer of shavings stuck to it. I bought the car with 30k miles and it now has 45k. I will definitely work in atf flushes regularly maybe every 30k to keep things smooth.

I used honda atf dw fluid as I had some left over from the tsx.

Just wanted to share my experience.

What method did you use to "flush" the trans?

Also, you might want to consider changing the external trans filter.

thats good i also when it for service the other day here is waht they did

1. change tranmission fluid.
2. change my brake fluid and clean the lines
3. resurface rotars and change brakes (rear)
4. oil and filter change.
i need my front brakes done next time they said they were ok and i need tires i still have the stockies on but she shifts are more smooth as well in my opinion
