Hi everyone, about 3 weeks ago the car stalled on me on a stop sign. I started and it was fine until 2 day later and it did the same thing, basically over the next 2 weeks it would periodically stall in low gears until and it kept on getting worse to a point which it would stall as soon as it was turnt on. The car is at the dealer now for the past 3 days, they said a new ecu is a $1000 but the part is back ordered until midish july. This kind of makes me think that lots of these ecu's are going bad, i ended up getting a used one for $500 and hopefully the car would be ready tomorrow, i was wondering if anyone else have or had the same issue.

 

check your A/C drain make sure it's not backing up and spilling water on the ECU! Common issue with the 3G TL, haven't heard much of ECU issues with the 4G 2009-2014.
