Just a thought....do you think there are actually components which are different in the steering ecu or is there a eprom that is just programmed differently. if it's just a emprom and it's no fixed, removable a eprom programmer might do the trick if someone wanted to upgrade 2009 steering to 2010+ steering

 

I thought they had just lowered the power steering assist a bit. I'm sure it's all programming.
Would be nice to get the revised steering.

 

does anyone know how the schematics of the steering ecu can be obtained?
