2009 Acura TL SH-AWD

I just bought a pre-owned certified 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD. Wanted to know if anyone had any problems? Is there somethings I hold be looking out for too.

First, replace the battery if it hasn't been replaced so far. It will die, guaranteed!

Torque converter may start vibrating at low speeds and prop shaft may be making whistle noises on the highway. Other than that, check the oil level once in a while since some 4g TLs have been known to consume lots of it.

Even tho they all say the TL is reliable, well, it is for those who have seen far worse...

My 2009 had propellor shaft replaced. There is a whistling nose at the front of car (weird) at a certain speed.

I posted the same issue myself as well. If they do it, they will re-program something and extend warranty on the Torque Converter. I am sure dealer will let you know if that has been done already.

Glad I bought the maintenance package along with the E-warranty. But ill check the oil because with the 3.7 it feels like it may consume a lot of oil.

54k on our '09 AWD, TC has been changed twice, L/R front wheel bearings have been replaced, in addition to the prop shaft. No oil consumption tho.

How does a car "feel" like it will consume a lot of oil? I've been tinkering on cars and know quite a bit about cars but how does a person feel a car consume oil?

"Feel" is just an expression of words because the power the car provides. Notwithstanding the amount of gas the car consume @03 sixer. I also have not had any over consumption of oil and I've driven to SC twice since I've purchased the car.

Check the oil level frequently. Mine loses oil when I drive it hard, but does not when I take it easy.
