20-40KM/HR vibration

Guys,

A quick question: My 2010 TL SH-AWD Auto makes a very light vibration when I move the car from 20-40KM/HR (especially when I move from red light or stop signs). I did some research and symptoms are related to torque convertor. I called the dealer and they said it's not every 2010 TL that have TC issue. My car has only 85,000 KM. So it's under warranty. If anyone has experienced this issue, what did you guys do?

Any tips? Please help.

thanks

I had a Acura mechanic sit in my car and the judder happened at around 1000-1200 rpm. It happens when you coast a bit and hit an uphill (I live by a hill) and the TC is under a bit of stress. They acknowledged it but I can wait a bit more longer so that it's noticeable. I will keep my eye on it. I bought it used about 3.5 years ago at a dealer and there is an extended warranty for 7 years for TC. You should have received a notice on it. I am at around 90 000 km so we are under the mileage limit for this repair. Just make sure the issue repeatable when you go to the dealer.

If it the torque converter not much you can do besides replacement, but I would have your mechanic double check the integrity of your motor mounts. Sometimes failure of the big hydraulic mounts can result in weird vibrations
