to answer all the questions about carfax and it being recorded on record.

it will not be recorded on record unless its through insurance.

only thing it will show on record is that acura serviced the car and wil not list the specifics.

and i am most likely not qualified for a new car due to the fact that i already put 20k on it. so that is out of question.

im alraedy in financing with the car so getting it repainted might be a good thing. tomorrow i am going to ask them to do my hood and front and rear bumper. pretty much the whole car as the paint will not blend correctly.

wish me luck guys.

Good luck man. Just make sure it's not on carfax.

I had two flat tires and I took it to pep boys and when I traded the car in, the carfax showed it. I was shocked it was that detailed.

Have you contacted C-Mod? Someone on the TSX forums had a similar issue and they updated the grille to lessen the gap.

I have to say I love those rear reflectors. How did you do that and do you have any other pics? I have a '12 with the smaller reflectors, which have been tinted, so i won't be doing the same, but i am lovin' it anyway. Nice work!!

the one feature that the MDX doesnt have over the TL is the MPG bar that the TL has. It only shows you numbers as far as the mpg but not the bar that goes left to right when you step on the gas.. it sucks cuz you really cat see how much mpg is really using..

some people like it, others dont. i personally dont like the big reflectors but would like to still keep the reflector there, just wanted a little smaller.

its vinyl btw. it kinda blends with the black paint well lol

got my car back 2 days ago, paint still drying.. sitting on my garage right now while i drive my toyota previa

here is the set of wheels i picked up today..

3 piece 20x9.5 +31 5zigen hyper 5zr brand new
i practically paid the price of 1 wheel for this set.

i dunno about these rims.. i have two sets of wheels in my garage right now.. still deciding if i should go 19's or 20's

this set would be idea for awd, but sadly i dont have awd. i might just sell it..

The +31 offset would look perfect for the front and then you can add a 5mm spacer in the rear. I like the newer 5 spoke better than your mesh 19s. If you wanna sell them, let me know. I have an event i will be djing at in LA next month, ill pick em up. lol

Potmilkz.....I know your TL is in the garage drying (sort of speak) but are you happy with the paint job overall? Did it blend in well with the non painted surfaces?

oh that paint job is flawless.

on a black car, your able to see orange peel right?

not this one, they wet sand and buffed it really nice.. it looked way better than the first day i picked up the car two years ago.

there isnt any blending, as they painted the whole.

the clear coat is still in its drying stage as it is very soft right now

dude, you always mention offset when ever you ask a question about tires.. Please get that out of your head. Offset means nothing in terms of tires size. From a simplistic standpoint. If you were wanting some super precise measurements etc, then yeah they may play a more vital role as they do dictate how far the wheel comes out to the fender. With that being said a 255/35/20 would work perfectly fine on 20x9.5.. May have minimal stretch through depending on the tire you run.. Hurry up and throw one of those wheels on. Ive been waiting to see your iforged forever:p

I think youre right, that offset doesnt matter from a simplistic standpoint, but, since we know which car the wheels are going on and the fact that its lowered, the offsets will help us recommend a good tire size that will allow OP to go low and not rub. If he does decide to stay low he wont be able to run 255 on 9.5, it is probably not even considered stretched. Im almost certain that he will run into rubbing issues with that setup

I would recommend going 235/45/20 all around toso you can clear your fenders when turning or going over dips. you will also need to have your front and rear fenders rolled. I am running a +30 offset for my front and i have 225 on 9 wide to allow the wheels to turn.

Not trying to put you down, just putting the facts out there

btw guys, since i got my car repainted, and im taking a hit on the diminishing value of the car, i asked acura if they can compensate for the loss value, accessories, extended warranty, etc. This was 2 weeks ago.

yesterday i got a call from the acura service rep, he told me that due to this incident, acura will be extending your warranty and will be giving you another extra 5 years 120k mile warranty.

i will get documents on tuesday to sign.

i guess acura does care.
