Nice detail, PM! Black is so hard to keep clean. But you're right-it looks brand new.

thanks!
thanks!
YUP, i agree too! thanks!
Love what you did with the rear reflectors - did you mask them off like that and paint, or create a tinted film in that shape?
Hope you don't mind me experimenting with something along the lines of what you did - love how it copies the lines of the led bulbs in the tails.

well my stuff came in for my quad set up..
low beams will be swapped out with tsx-r's
high beams will be retrofitted with fx-r bixenons with fxr clear lens
tsx-r clear lens
all 4 lens
fx-r bixenon
still deciding on which shroud to use and also waiting for my hid kit to come in along with my two relay kits...

That is a mod that i wanted to see for a long time, hat's off to you for trying this and i feel that it will look real sweet .
I said to myself that i would never open my headlights but would def consider changing my mind to do this.

its going to be challenging as the high beam area is very small and limited space. i might have to go with a smaller bixenon.. but i will have to wait and see.. still unsure of what shround would fit.

That's interesting that you used paint. Where exactly did you paint? The inside of the projector housing? I used LEDs behind mine but I like what you did too. This should look amazing when your done. I'm really excited to see how it turns out. I have thought about doing something like this ever since I saw the nsx concept. Glad to see you doing this. Its going to look sweet.

hahah me too.. it is going to take me some time to do... i dont have a car to drive as this is my daily so i will have to wait till the next holiday where i get about 4 days off. then i can focus all my time on it.. a retrofit for a experienced person takes about 4 hours.. and since i have never done a quad before.. its going to take alot more than that.. plus i want it to be perfect.. cutting and trimming..
i do want to tell you guys if you do go with a quad.. get a smaller projector than the fx-r i have.. the high beam housing is very small and the spacing between the frame and the highbeam backside where the bulbs locks on to is very limited.
also i am thinking of purchasing a trashed headlight to test on.. so i dont have to take apart mine and fuck it up.. lol

Well good luck man. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I guess if I ever open my lights again I may get some TSX-r lenses and maybe I'll take a page out of your book and spray the cut off shields.

well the way i have it is that it will not be lit up by any light.. just a color on the insides of the projectors. unless you have red/blue colors flashing or on.. i am sure you wont get in trouble impersonating as a officer of the law.

^^^ the one DIY thread I had read, the guy used small low voltage red leds in the projectors...and If am not mistake it was the thread with the white EVO....
again until the color is not "flashing" or very damn bright and obvious, I think you should be fine....
