New tints

Drove up to tint king in MA today and finally got my tl tinted with geoshield 42% which brought it down to the CT legal 35%. i was debating between the geoshield and HO dual layer. they did not have the dual layer HO in stock at the time but the owner said the HO ESC was a very popular choice. i was not a fan of the ESC due to the high reflectivity and he gave me a good price on the geoshield so i went with that. Props to tint king and the owner. very nice guys and I would highly recommend them. here are some pics. its gonna rain all weekend so no point in washing her today. also just got my new plates in!

Looking good man! Tint is the first thing I always have done

I like the plate as well! Just take off the dealer frame.

looks good.
I previously had a question whether or not tint can be applied without a visible ~1cm "gap" from the outside, but I can see that it does on the TL on the photo #3 and #4 (rear side door quarter glass and the rear glass). I guess this is unavoidable since one can only get to so much of the glass surface from the inside??

On mine the tint covers the entire inside of the glass. I think that is just an optical illusion where it looks like a tiny gap there. I don't see like what is in the photo. I'll have to go look at some old photos of mine.
