OMG! I Haven't been on here in a while and just looked through the pics of the new tl. I call major FUBAR. F-that. I guess I'm keeping my 06, cause I'm definitely not buying that.

I hate how the hood shuts inside the fender and front end. UGLY Makes me think of a buick or something.

Interior is nice, but I don't like the nav screen set back into the dash. It should be closer to the occupants like the current car. I guess they did that for glare?

 

One thing I noticed is that the new tl does not have all auto on all the windows. if they are trying to get up with lexus and the other car companies, I think they are missing on extras that come with the other cars

158 photos... 90+ of them are exterior shots. Only 4 are showing the front in a different color than silver or white and those aren't good front shots. They show the Maroon and Blue but never straight on..but then have 50 million of the silver from the front. Just a guess here but it seems Acura is still trying to hide the front grille (ugly, bulkyness) by blending it with the silver or white color. Just my make a more appealing front end and you won't have anything to hide.
I saw a black tsx at the grocery the other day and wow that plenum grille really sticks out on that and not in a good way and the tsx grille is alot smaller than the TL grille Still hoping for a redesign in the next year or so.

like it's been said, looks just like any other sedan now. bulky with a dome. the 3rd gen looked damn good, and damn unique, the sharp lines blended with some nice curves.

this one's got lines and curves, just in all the wrong damn places

 

Okay, I think I'm sold...

 

yeah, I now think this car looks great, weird how it grew on me even tho I really didn't think it would. Now to wait until 2010 for the MT.

Still not liking it but the black seems to look the best. Probably because black hides all the ugly lines.

It needs rhinoplasty. Not my cup of tea. I guess you can purchase one and wait for an after market grill, but judging from the lacking support for model already in existence, I am guess it will be a very long wait.

The interior is cool, a lot of smart improvements...

But exterior? man, this car is ugly, it's like a riced out camry. Sad...

It looks pretty good in black but I have to agree with everyone else on that grill, it's just hideous. Interior is very nice though.

The trunk space looks a little smaller than the 3G.

3G FTW...the 09 tl looks like a mix betwean a camry, an accord and a bottle opener. and those wheels look like a bigger version of the civic si's wheels. the 3G is a hole lot sleaeker and sporty IMO.. I cant wait to see an 09 modded out because the stock tl just doesnt do it for me and apparently a lot of other heads on this forum.

It isn't bad.

I am not loving it like I did when the 04 came out. But with time who knows...

 

I still dont like it. I'll stick to my 08 Type S.

No...I don't think so. Although I do think that this car will look better in darker colours than lighter ones. Blacks and the like hide some of the more questionable deign cues. The grill is still way out of place IMO, but the rest of the design is appealing. I just feel that the car is swinging from a more sporty disposition to a more luxurious one....not a bad thing, I guess. I just don't want it to lose it's edge.

Personally, I'll be waiting for the Type S (I hope!).
