..these shots of your car have me literally speechless. I just read through the entire progress thread, and have really enjoyed it. I bought my (bone stock) '12 last night, and will be ordering S-techs asap to start. This car and the car owned by Zeleya on here are gorgeous. Thank you and user_error for the motivation! I am also in Jacksonville, FL so maybe i can pick you guys' brains once I have the funds to make some moves!

LOL i literally just though that exact same thing after the new paint-matched trim on the rear pic dude posted lol

Thank you!
Thank you, hope to see a progress thread of yours soon!
Thanks! Hoping I get better!
Glad you enjoyed it! Ive got a lot of help from fellow members so happy to share my progress with others.
I'm happy with the s-techs. I feel like the height is a functional height (easy to get around) but it still looks lowered. The ride isn't jarring either. The occasional high speed bump sucks but other than that no complaints. I cant justify the $1,000 diff for the coils. If I found a good used pair maybe. I guess its subjective though.
We generally meet up once a month here in jax and just hand out for a while and stare at each others cars lol. The more people the better! Generally there is a thread in the southeast regional forums.

I finally got some time to work on the car this past weekend. I had some TSX-r lenses for the projectors and Nexson had sent me a new grill. My other grill was ok but no where near as good as the quality that Nexson does. I'll be doing a photo shoot again soon. Hopefully the weather chills out so I can actually wash my car without it raining 30 minutes later. Anyways.... since I had the headlights open to put in the new lenses I decided to paint my cut off shield. I didn't want to do red since it was already done in the 4G forums so I went with teal. Hoping to do another shoot soon to show off the nice new grill! Here's a pic of the cutoff shield though.

Fear the Spear!
This is still the hardest TL I have seen
I think Matt and I have the same taste. This is also my first post as I'm in the process of buying my first Acura (4th gen TL) and I'm super stoked. I actually bought my mom a 4th gen TL a few weeks ago and fell in love with the car (besides her's being a feminine blue color). I am in love with the black and stealth mode concept you have going on here Matt. The Vossen's are still some of my favorite wheels I have seen. I think I will go with the black with machine faced same wheels so that I'm not a total copy cat. I live in Destin, FL and would love some advice on how you go about doing some of the same mods you have. Unfortunately I have to wait 15 days or something before I can PM. Anyway that's one sick TL, thanks for the inspiration.

Got some time to clean up the ride today and have a quick photo shoot. New pictures on the way!
Thanks.

The Vossens definitely are my favorites! The black with machined face will flow really nicely with the chrome on the car. I don't mind helping people out so yea hit me up.
Not really, supposedly if you paint them black it will give a nice sharp cut off. I have noticed since switching to the TSX-r lenses and painting the cutoff shields the light looks somewhat teal/aqua when looking directly at the light which is kinda cool but the actual light output is still white.
Thanks.

I did the base coat of my chrome trim in Plastidip then painted over it with a color that matched my wheels. I can remove it whenever I want now. If you take the time to really tape everything off good yourself you could do it yourself. Plastidip is a little more forgiving since if you get it on your car it will come right off. The downside is its matte. That's why I went over it with a can of auto paint afterwards.
