Just picked up my 2012 Graphite Elite!
I just picked up my 2012 Graphite Elite! So far, I am very happy with it. The pick-up is so much better and smoother with the 6AT, the car rides very well and very smoothly even with the 19" wheels (no worse than my 18" wheels that I had before with the 2010 SH-AWD + Tech). Overall, the vehicle seems to have a more refined ride.

OK, OK, you guys are so impatient! LOL! Here are the photos. I wished there were more sunlight to show off the colour, but these will do for now! Thanks!!!
P.S. I still miss my Mayan Bronze + umber which I cannot get in Canada anymore..... sigh!

Oh yeah, we still got snow on the ground!!! It's Canada, man!!! Sigh.... in fact, there was a huge snowstorm here last week. I am SO FED UP with this snow.......
BTW, the sales guy at the dealership says that it's "official" that Acura Canada stated that they would not have more 2012 TL's sent to the dealership for the next 3 months, apparently due to the crisis in Japan. So whatever they have en route to the dealership right now, that's it, until 3 months from now. I wonder if anyone else has heard this too?

Thats my color...............I am looking at the same package except taupe interior..
It looks black...........I know at night it definately looks black.
I am trading in my 07 Type S...looking for a decent deal on the advance package.

congrats, nice color, love the rims on the advance model. its too bad the rims on the awd tech are garbage, probably by design to force buyers into the advance.
i notice one of your neighbors is still rockin that old camaro z28, man that thing has gotta be rough with the winters up there.

My dealer has told me the same thing basically. I thought he was just being pushy! They've got 1 6MT SHAWD Tech coming in today, and apparently, someone else is "very interested" in it! They sold 1 6MT for 2010.

Thanks guys for all of your kind comments. I am really loving the car! Oh, I don't have the 2010 Mayan Bronze anymore.... I loved that car too! I do miss it....

One dealership here has a Forged Silver SH-AWD Tech with 6MT. It's been on the lot for almost two weeks and I don't think that it's going anywhere.... so if anyone wants to snap it up there is at least one here in Calgary!

seaneroz, I wished that I had the taupe interior!!! However, all they had on order was the Graphite/ebony combination so I had no choice really..... if I had my way, I think that Graphite would look really wonderful with umber > taupe > ebony. Oh well.... you will love Graphite/taupe! That's what they had in the TL commercial. I think it's beautiful!

That is a beautiful car. I am so jealous. I want a '12 but think I love my paid for '07 TL more than I would love another car payment right now. Still under 30k miles on my '07.

lets just hope our 3Gs dont need stealership servicing or else we'll all be coming out in a 4G. I have 49K on my 06TL and just recently paid it off but the new car itch needs some scratching! But the 4G's MMC is not helping the urge to resist..lol

Amen. Drove the 6MT on the weekend. Still had the plastic on some parts. Decided this was the one for me. Forgot how mice a manual transmission Honda can make. Nice feel on the clutch, really short throws on the shifter (compared to the Audi, anyway). Sat down to do the deal, and my Audi dealer called with a "deal" on an S4. Now, it's up to who gives me the most off list (armed with the CarCostCanada reports!).
FYI, both Acura and Audi dealers said the CCC invoice price was dead on.

It appears both models have the same exhaust tips, same front reflectors and cooling ducts...
with the 3.5G & 4G, there was a lot of differentiating factors... that made it easy for somebody to spot. now, they are identical.
still debating if i want to switch to the 2012+ taillights
so, is there absolutely no way to tell the difference between a FWD & AWD, aside from the wheels & tiny sh-awd badge?

with the 3.5G & 4G, there was a lot of differentiating factors... that made it easy for somebody to spot. now, they are identical.

from the list of cars in your signature that you have owned, it seems you have lost enough money buying cars and selling them 1-2 years later. I would hold on to this one - it makes financial sense.

Still have the 2003 CL-S... LOVE that car!!! Its the wifey's ride... and she puts very, very low miles on it... but has like 20 door dings!!
car has about 76k on it, original 5AT that had the recall done when the car only had about 4k miles... transmission is solid as a rock
