Car is complete for now

Pics of all the work I've done up to now. Roof painted black, front grill black, emblems and rear molding black, wheels painted black, lip spoiler, mudguards and wood grain shifter

Perfect! Top turned out really nice. I'm not typically a fan, but with the wheels an grille badge, it ties in nicely. Keep up the good work.

Are you planning to get the wood steering wheel to go with the knob/trim ?

I have to say I am surprised I like it as much as I do. The black roof I am mixed on, but the other black treatments really look nice.

It could be lol thanx. Actually the dealer where my buddy works, his manager saw my wheels and wants to do some in the show room like that. Thought that was kind of cool.

My buddy wanted me to do the spoiler black but I didn't think it would look good

I was thinking the same thing. It would look out of place. Steering wheel is prob last thing I'm gonna do unless I do performance work

Beautiful car - well done! I think it has just about the right amount of black to go nicely with the white especially the grill, emblems and wheels. Still not totally sold on the black roof though that's only my personal preference.

I would suggest adding the side pieces if you do that. It will look good!

Do it! When I bought my kit, I only had time to put on the front spoiler and it did not look out of place at all. The front end will look a lot more agressive but I highly recommend getting the full kit. I know the rear spoilers are not for everyone though and you will lose the mud flaps.

There are plenty of members w/ '12-'13 4Gs who created threads w/ and w/o the full lip kit in the photo gallery subsection. You just have to click thru them.

I made one for my 4G and it's in the BWP color like yours.

Thanks and I have Tein SS coilovers in it. The rear is 10 threads from the bottom and the front is 4 or 5 threads from the bottom.

The Tein S-Techs springs will give a modest drop. Around -1.5" drop w/ a ~1" gap between the fender and the tire. I think these will look great w/ your current setup.
http://www.tein.com/tech_info/b96-ua9-awd.html

And if you are planning on dropping it and opt for the cheaper alternative then go w/ Teins. I've heard from other members they ride like OEM and are much better than H-R springs. I normally go w/ feedback from people who actually used the product to make my decision and I know you will do the same.

Keep us posted! Your car looks great.

The BWP with your black grill and roof ties it all together with the black badges. Nice work!

Russ, your TL looks really nice.

That being said, please use our Multi-Quote Button. In the lower right hand corner of each post, the middle icon is that button. This lets you respond to more than one person in a single reply.

Cheers!
