My tint guy has the TL tonight, he's staring the job tomorrow 8am and I'm still on the fence as far as tint %... I want all side windows to have the same tint, the local cops started to random check cars with tinted window lately...

The lightest he has is 35% which I'm afraid will be too dark...

Any of you guys have pictures of a white or silver TL with 35%? Or 55% for that matter as I think it's what I should go with instead...

What is the legal % where you live? Here in FL it's 35% and IMO that's way too light. I've always gone darker (5-15%) and the only times I've been pulled over were for my fully tinted windshield (35%).

On the TL I have 15% all around (no windshield) and have had no issues with Johnny Law.

I went with 50% on the side and 35% back window. Very happy with the results. The law states that both front side windows must let 70% of the light to go thru. Which doesn't leave a lot of room to put anything really...

What are everyones thoughts on reflective tints?

The only thing tackier than reflective tint is colored tint.
