Im thinking about doing vinyl for the chrome trim. Some people say it'll be too much and others say it'll look good so I'm undecided yet....but thanks for the comment!!

Thanks!! The drop is awesome. I'm dropped on Tein SS coilovers so I can change whether I want the ride frim or soft.

Looks great.
Thanks!! Yeah theres clear film on the bumper also. Thats the cool thing about having a clear bra, you cant really see it until you get up close to the car.

Thank you sir!! They're powder coated. I found a shop close by that specialize in powder coating and it was a good price so I went for it. I wanted to be a little different.

im going to vinyl the chrome strip that runs the length of the car in flat black just because the chrome seems out of place on my car now. Im sure what ever you decide to do will look good. So far i like the mods you have done the best out of anyones 4g on here.

I'm thinking of going with glossy black vinyl for the chrome trims.

I dont know about having the best 4G TL on here though lol, but thanks for that comment.

Thanks!! That's what I was told at first also. They told me I would have to wait about a month before installing clear bra on the grille. But then when I went to pick up the car, it was already installed on the grille. He told me that he used some special clear coat that dries quickly and then baked the grille in the oven twice to get it dry.

If you dont mind, how much did it cost for you to get the fog light housing painted? Did they have to uninstall the front bumper to do so?

Just wanted to share some updated pics of the car. Since the last update, I've added the OEM Underbody Spoiler Kit, SPC Camber Kit, Ebay Roof Spoiler and I also lowered the car a little more. The front is maxed out but I can still lower the back a little more. All in all, I love how the car turned out.

I cant compete with some of the TLs in here. With some dedication, this car can be transformed into a beautiful machine. Let me know what you guys think, good or bad!! ENJOY!!!

Looks awesome man! Not over the top, but subtly different. I think you DEF need to invest in some wheels spacers though. Once thats done it ll be complete Keep it up man

I like it except for the dark HPTs; they're more of a blue'ish gray and don't have the shine of the 08 type S wheels. But what I really don't like about the wheels is how overall they make your car too dark.

Thanks, I have thought about them but I've heard they're bad news. Im waiting to see yours and then maybe that'll help me make my decision.

Thanks. Its actually black behind the emblem but I guess the reflection from the sun makes it look silver.

Thanks for the opinion. The wheels actually dont have any shade of blue in them. I guess its just how the pictures make them look. The wheels are actually a glossy gunmetal metallic color. The car looks much better in person. The pictures dont do it any justice. I've gotten many compliments from many people about the overall car. To each his own I guess.

Thanks, I'm eventually going to get the TL-S center caps to see how it matches the wheels. I was going to get it a while ago but I kept forgetting about it. It'll get done eventually.

Damn that looks great! Your drop is perfect. As long as you don't tint the tails, the dark theme works well

i agree with a few others... and i noticed this last time you posted pics

i love the car, looks great... but really not feeling the wheel paint job.. i like the HPTs, but the color looks blue-ish grey

Personally, i would go for a more gunmetal color like the 3G Type-S Wheels, or the 2010-2011 SH 18" Wheels....

I guess its just how the pictures make them look. But I can assure everyone, that the wheels do not have any shade of blue in them.

The car looks gorgeous but to me is too low but that's just me. Have you consider putting spacers that will stand the wheels more and will look aggressive. Thank you for sharing.

Has everyone checked the color settings on their screens? The wheels look great! As does the rest of your car. Very nicely done.

I purchased the 19" HPTs from a fellow member that had them listed in the black market. I payed $1000 and thats included the TPMS sensors.

I was thinking about getting the black chrome emblems but decided against it. I think the chrome emblems compliments the rest of the chrome on the car. The chrome that I kept helps keep the car look a little classy. I dont really wanna black out the WHOLE car.

your wheels need spacers - the wheels are too far in. the drop gives them negative camber and the tops lean in..making them look like htey don't stick out far enough.

other than that.. WOW. the car looks SICK!!

makes me want to sell my RL and trick a 4G TL!!

UPDATE: Just had the BBK installed a couple weeks ago with a set of 15mm spacers front and 20mm spacers rear. They look and perform a million times better than stock.

At first, I had 20mm spacers front and 25mm rear but they made the tires stick slightly too far out and I didnt like how they looked. They were also rubbing. So I switched to 15mm front and 20mm rear. To be they look perfect, not too far in but also not too far out.

I also raised the car back up for the winter season. Dont worry, its gonna get more low after the winter season. Let me know what you think, here are some pics.
