XLR8 Performance Exhaust System are designed for function, form and style. Each exhaust system starts with T-304 stainless steel, known throughout the industry as the highest quality material practical for after-cat exhaust applications. All exhaust tubing is mandrel bent on sophisticated CNC machinery for a precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. What’s more, the use of T-304 stainless steel flanges offers high strength and complete resistance to harsh elements. All hangers, resonators, and tips are T-304 stainless steel as well.

The mufflers used are built specifically for each system and are designed in accord with years of racing and street development invested into the design. Each muffler is tuned to match its application for the best possible performance gain and sound quality combination. Each muffler is polished to a high gloss beautiful finish; the rest of the stainless steel system is finished in a natural satin finish.

Looks sweet! Have you had any issues with drone around the 3k rpm mark like the 3G's use to have?

I am impressed. J-pipe+hi flo cat+catback exhaust=win!!!! Count me in! I love the tips, I was worried they would be ugly but I'm glad they are square-ish to match the flow of the vehicle. Eagerly awaiting prices and dates. Any chance for a package deal to include j pipe and high flo cat?

A number of months ago we integrated PRT into our muffler design: Purge Resonance Technology. It is a technology that reduces low speed resonance or drone. And this system was designed with the new muffler technology and two large resonators in order to reduce drone.

I haven't heard a sound clip yet personally but I will post up more info and pics and clips as I get them.

We will offer a package price for those who want for the full exhaust system.

I would imagine the stock exhaust clears the underbody spoiler. What is the clearance between the stock tips and the underbody spoiler?

For those of you who do not have the underbody spoiler what is the clearance between the stock tips and bumper?

Our system will not sound like crap. It is a deep throaty note and with the new technology a civil tone on the inside also.

I'd have to agree, without even hearing it. The quality that goes into the exhaust system made for the 3G, i am sure will be replicated into the 4G system as well

Im not saying your product will sound like crap. Its a generalized statement. I would rather wait for a sound clip than to buy the product blindly..... or rather, deftly.

I understand what you're saying but the system is built very similarly to the 3rd gen TL system, which had a deep, throaty note. The exhaust note will be very similar. This isn't a rice burner system with a circle muffler on a Civic. I will try to get a sound clip for you but sound clips never sound like the exhaust sounds in person.

P.S. Deftly means skillfully.

I prefer the ATLP exhaust tips. They look more sporty/aggressive but still a solid product offered by XLR8.

I don't know, I think the ATLP tips do not flow with the car. The XLR8 tips are a perfect match. They need some angular flow to them rather than just big circles. I like that it goes the theme of the car. I've always thought that the best aftermarket exhaust tips typically model themselves after the factory ones. It's the only way to make an exhaust upgrade classy, of course without sounding bad too. Nothing more distasteful than a car driving around with huge cans hanging out the back.

These tips are nice but I still like ATLP's tips better. I like the roundness of ATLP's. If I am going to spend more than $1000 on a exhaust I want it to stand out and look aftermarket. Just My tho. But hey I am only 24 and also
