this isn't swindler anonymous here...generally people stick to what they said or at least notify that they can't.

Regardless of showing up, shop wasn't even open.

Not sure if this was answered. Will this intake void the warranty at all?

the only things it will void is the things it breaks.

not really.

It's under the hood breathing dust...wash the filter and you're good.

Just installed tonight. There is definitely a noticeable difference in both tone and resonance.... I have not totally got on it as of yet but when the vtec kicks in you really hear it.

Normal speed just a slight increase in tone (sounds more aggressive in the exhaust note). As you increase through the powerband the tone increases at a fairly linear rate and then lets you know when the vtec kicks in.

Not really seeing an increase in throttle response right off the bat as it seems a little sluggish, but I was told by an Acura tech that the computer needs a little time to learn the new setup.

So far though...... me likey

does anyone have a video of this intake from inside or outside with it NOT on a dyno? Just in normal everyday driving conditions?

Thanks!

K, day 3 of installed intake. I LOVE THIS thing

For those that might be on the fence like I was about this product.

Power is now up throughout the entire curve.

The sound is barely noticeable to the untrained ear (read, my wife) until that is, you step it down and get on it... (her exact words "FU*****k** that thing is a beast!)

No highway drone at all and even pulling hills there is not a hint of it. The sound it makes is a nice throaty sound, like you have just opened up your exhaust (like going from a stock muffler to a flowmaster) to let the car breath better. I am enjoying my 2.5hr commute everyday.

Thanks to those of you who responded to my pm's and email for additional information and personal experience regarding this product. You made purchasing it easy.

I also want to shout out to Excelerate Performance for their fast response and shipping of this product. Shipped as advertised with the included items being of high quality build.

The entire purchase experience was top notch

Thank you for this. So to confirm, every day easy driving, there is next to no difference? But you hear it when going into vtec or stomping on it down low?

I'm in real estate and have clients in my car all of the time showing properties, so it is important that the car sound quite stock when I'm with them.

Yes, I would have no problem with hauling clients around with this installed.

Normal driving for me is no difference other than a throatier/deeper sound under light acceleration. At a constant speed (such as cruise set at 70mph) though it is indiscernible from a stock setup.
Even when you get into it nice and smoothly it is a nice throaty growl, once you put your foot into it, then it lets you know that it is really there.

Installed this over the holiday break and I have to say I love it. Great sound, but not really noticeable at lower RPM's. I think I notice a difference in throttle response, but it could be just because I'm happy to have it installed.

I just put mine in yesterday.... oh man my WOKE up! It is seriously Dr. Jekel and My Hyde now. Wow... you feel the vibration when you really get on it! I did the black one, and to the casual observer everyone thing looks stock.

what if they count all the people who put it on their MDX, TSX, RL? same product technically. I'm not even going to mention Accords. Oh well, I just did.

Yeah he was referring to the total number of intakes unit sold, regardless if they put it on a TL or another car. They actually made a conversion unit between SRI and CAI for the TSX.
