Rotors?

Anyone running crossed drilled and slotted rotors? If so what brand and where can I get? I think they would look sweet.

you dont mention if you have the base model or the 3.7...
Excelerate Performance carries slotted and drilled rotors for the 3.7.
Now, I'm unfamiliar with your years, and dont know if the 3.7 uses a larger rotor.

You can look up rotor sizes here: http://www.hondanews.com/channels/ac...tions/releases

3.5L and 3.7L trims all have the same size rotots, front and rear.

FWIW, I've read that if you want drilled/slotted to make sure you buy from a manufacturer that DESIGNS the rotor to be drilled and slotted. Apparently some re-sellers, buy blanks and then drill them which may lead to cracking at the holes. IOW - beware of fly-by-night, cheap ebay sellers. Buy from a reputable dealer/manufacturer.

Personally, I would get slotted rotors, I've heard that drilled rotors tend to crack (or at least low quality drilled).

We have a few sets of ROTORA slotted or drilled and slotted rotors in stock for the front of the 09+ TL. Whether AWD or FWD the rotor and pad are the same for the F&R.

We also have ceramic pads for the front and rear if needed. Use promo code AZROTORA for a discount on the rotors.

When I get ready to replace the stock rotors, I'm going to check into DBAs first. Had Rotoras on my CL, and after less than 5000 miles went back to my oems which had over 50 k on them. Tried the cyberfrozen units also, and were better than the Rotoras, but still had problems. Switched to DBAs, and was problem free. Not knocking any vendor who pushes any particular brand ... just my experience with the brand.

Well if the company does the process correctly the rotor should be fine. We have actually moved primarily over to STOPTECH/Powerslot rotors but we used to sell a lot of ROTORA rotors and have had good experiences 99% of the time.

I replaced all 4 corners on my 09 Accord Coupe with EBC Gold Sports. They're slotted and dimpled, rather than drilled, to avoid cracking. I've had them for several months and I'm happy with them.

I have my OEM rotors resurfaced at less than 15,000 miles. I thought this was excessive. I just had the front rotors replaced under warranty. What is the difference in rotors? I have a 2009 TL Tech.

That's weird. My '09 AWD non-Tech has 30k miles on the original rotors and they look fine. Why were yours resurfaced at 15k miles?

I honestly think my stock rotor are warped because heavy to moderate braking makes strong vibrations. Can I replace them under my warranty?
I am one those guys who knows little about warranties in this case.
