Questons?>????

I have an Acura 09 Sh-AWD TL and i'm in the market for a new exhaust. I would like a new exhaust that doesn't sound too ricey but sounds nice. If anyone could help me with this that'd be great, also I want to lower my car and have no experience whatsoever so if someone could fill me in on what to look for specs wise that would be nice. Please and thank you!

You have many options regarding the exhaust, from swapping the OEM mufflers with Magnaflow/Borla to XLR8/ATLP full exhaust systems to simply changing parts further up the line (HFPC, J-Pipe). Look through the thread linked below for additional details.

Let's get an exhaust thread going

When it comes to lowering you have to decide between springs, coilovers, or bags. There are pros and cons to each configuration but most people find coilovers to be the most ideal option. Tein SA's seem to be the favorite on AZ.

Yeah I think I'd like to do the coilovers over bags, much more cheaper. But any specs I should be looking for when buying coils? best brand?

Unfortunately I can only really speak for the the Tein SA as that's what I have. I've been very happy with them and I know many others have as well. They allow you to adjust the dampening but there is no separate spring preload adjustment (it's determined based on the ride height). I believe ISC coils allow for separate spring preload adjustment but I don't know a lot about them. I'm pretty sure there are a couple other brands as well but Tein and ISC seem to be the most popular for the 4G.

As for the exhaust goes there's one available from EndlessRPN that slung really good, not to loud either. I've had twin coils for over 3 years and love them and I also have the EDFC module which you can adjust the ride stiffness.

Our XLR8 exhaust would be a great addition to make your car sound more aggressive without sounding "ricey". If anything our exhaust has a exotic tone that you can really hear at full throttle. Our exhaust is also resonated to help reduce drone, and made here in the U.S. from high quality U.S. grade stainless steel!

Coilover wise, there's some great options depending on what range of adjustments your looking to get and what your budget it. If you just need some basic height adjustment and don't plan to drop the car too low, you can stick with a set of the TEIN Street Basis. We offer them for $531 not including shipping.

If you want something that's much more adjustable and will be a better ride if you lower the car down, I'd go with the ISC Street/Sport coilovers. We have them for $955 not including shipping.
