Programmer for TL!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys, Ive been looking around and came across the Jet performance Chip has anyone tried it yet ??? i think i will order mine very soon. Also with the stock auto tranny be able to hold a 50 shot of nitrous??? any one know?
Those Jet chips are junk.
You're fine on nitrous if you stay conservative, and use a safe kit, like the Zex. I would spray no more than a 70 shot on the stock ECU and ignition timing, and only then with some cooler plugs.

There is a reason there isn't some huge chip market for the Honda engines - the ECUs don't work that way. It's not a Mustang you can just pop a EEPROM out of and a new one with new values into - in many regards, this is unfortunate.
Your best bet is a Spoon/AEM/Hondata type ECU replacement or piggyback and then getting with a tuner that knows the motor or is willing to learn to tune it without raping you for 20 hour of dyno time on a car that isn't so dyno friendly.
Look into the Apexi S-AFC and V-AFC if you want some electronic horsepower - but again, gonna need someone that knows the numbers to dial it in proper.
Chips like this jet are generally nothing more than a $.05 resistor in fancy packaging - that might lean the a/f out a bit across the band and give you a slice of pep in a place or two.

Tell ya what Eazy, take your car to the 1/4 mile strip and post a scan of the best time you can run and a picture of your car chalked up at the track with the number on windscreen.
I'll take my stock 07 TL-S to the 1/4 mile drags, at about 1200ft elevation compared to you being sea-levelish, and beat anything you post by at least 2 tenths and post pictures in the same fashion.

Head to a track for a 1/4 mile and time your ride - post a pic. We can easily find a 3G TL-S (bone stock) to do the same. That will answer your question. No need for opinions - we'll have proof. I know many 3G'ers have taken their cars to the drag strip.
My previous car was the 07 TL-S - it's a faster car because it's like 500lbs lighter than the 4G is.
Sadly your SRI, even if it added 10whp, would unlikely be enough to counter act the weight advantage of the 3G TL-S
justnspace, LOL.
How is something wrong with me when you just say, "Oh I can race my two cars tonight, Oh yeah they aren't ready yet". You totally just contradicted yourself and then decided to post it.
You crack me up bro! LOL
