And Ritchie offered to fix it ASAP not to mention the member who's precat broke was supercharged doing a track event. If you think stock primary cats would have faired better I would think again. Definitely won't deter me from purchasing my hfpc. Nice repost by the way.

It's really not to someone that has even a mediocre set of tools and is somewhat mechanically savvy, it's a 2-3 hours of work. When it comes to aftermarket parts there is almost always a disclaimer that they are for off road use and typically have a very limited warranty if any. If you searched you will see rv6 stands behind there product like few companies I have seen for after market car parts. If you searched more you would also find members with stock primary cats failing on their welds with minimal mods.

If you feel you can find another company who offers pcd/hfpc for our cars and is of better quality than rv6 I implore you to go with them. That is my opinion.

for one thing pcd are not allowed for street use at all. 2nd thing is the car with pcd must be hauled to track events. i never saw one tl/accrd get hauled to a track event ever. even the hfcd does not have a carb sticker and rv6 says it will pass smog. the welds on this particular product threw me off.

another thing is rv6 hf cats uses magna flow cats and it is illegal in california and rv6 didnt say anything about it. same flanges on pcd i wouldnt be surprise it the welds cracked and broke off that too
