First 4th gen TL turbo 500 awhp in the nation
Acura 4G TL fans there is finally hope that this motorolla ECU can be worked out with K-tuner and AEM for engine management. After 2.5 years in project finally the only one in the nation that ever produce 500 hp and 475 torque with 8 lbs of boost. Stock engine and tranny. Ktuner has to develop more on the software and has been asking how the project did. Turns out car out is a beast. Even with AWD and stickiest and wider tire, the wheels cant stay on the ground due to too much torque. My friend stated he is scared to drive it even he has driven a corvette before. Just wanna share the hope. Good luck guys

i totally forgot about the FMIC cooling. The pictures in this thread do bring up this point. one needs to fabricate their own bumper to accommodate the right cooling for a turbo application.

Are you referring to the bumper cover or the actual bumper itself? I see that it’s removed in order for that big @ss intercooler. Did you ever fabricate that back in some way?

i think the OP modified the metal bumper or beam along with bumper cover. OP can you provide more details on how you fit that huge FMIC ?

I heard someone tried it before but not sure the results are done. K tuner and AEM combination are my engine management. They have been wanting ASAA racing results. I have been driving it with no tranny issue or any issues. Car runs perfect. Its built for daily driving. Capable of keeping up with 1 L bikes in group ride on curvy country roads. Spend 40k for the project with suspension and rotors and brembo brakes. Looking for some enthutiast who will spend more money to continue upgrading this project. I am listing it for sale.

ive always known this motor to have this kind of potential. but i would like to see it put out some real HP numbers like in the 1500+hp range. if anyone has heard of Bisimoto, he was featured in a Netflix special called Fastest Car with his honda odyssey making 1000+ HP. it has the 3.5 J-series, same as the 3G TL motor but anyways, if he can do 1000+ in a minvan, theres no reason why a 4G TL couldnt make even more with the extra .2 liters. all it takes is money and surely someone with a 4G has gotta have deep enough pockets to do such a build.
