Looking for turbo for 4G TL
Hello guys, new to forum. I have 2010 manual TL SH-AWD with XLR8 exhaust, K&N cool air intake, Ron John full body kit painted all kinetic blue pearl and 20 inch Ron John rims. I have been searching about how to make my car faster (wish to increase up to 200 horse power). Any recommendations if anyone makes turbo kit or supercharger or nitrous kit or swapping faster engine? The only thing I found was CT engineering that made turbo kit but it didnt follow through.
Very nice car! As others have mentioned no FI kits are available for the 4G Acura TL, your timing is pretty good if you want to create a custom kit since the 4G TL now has tuning software available through Ktuner.
I think I've seen one supercharger kit for sale at one point but it was a custom build for a show car by CT Engineering if I'm not mistaken. It never made it to production and I don't think the numbers it put down were all that impressive.

Besides the inherent difficulties with creating a custom turbo setup, you also have to consider that our transmissions may not be capable of handling that much power. I recently bought a spare J37A4 which I plan to mod, N/A isn't a bad route if you're serious about making power reliably.
Some things that you haven't mentioned that will increase power are:
-removing cats (jpipe/PCD)
-tuning
-pulleys (crank, alternator, tensioner)
-reverting to stock intake, it's been proven to have better airflow and velocity.
-get things ported/polished and port match.
-bore things out such as TB.
-get a custom driveshaft, light weight.
-get another engine and do headwork/cams
I've done or am doing many of those things already if you're serious about getting a bump in power I'd start there. And although I wont, but even if I were to do FI, I still do those mods to get the most out of FI.
