Yes, yes and yes.

We had to tweak the design a little, turns out on the AWD platforms the front PC has an extra mount. We didn't want to eliminate this fearing it would cause problems. Otherwise just waiting on the mold makers.

Few questions:

How many more deposits are required before production?

I see you mentioned that MPG will increase; I have a 09 awd/tech TL by about how many MPG?

Will the HFPCs pass a NY state inspection, how about the PCDs?

Would this void an Acura Care warranty?

Going to ask local mechanic how much he'd charge to install this before I put down my deposit, thanks in advanced.

Then send the deposit, breaking into two payments eases the burden a bit IMO if you're trying to do a buncha mods in a short amount of time (as I am ).

I miss that darn 3G TL. Precats are amazing! BUMP for you, RV6. To date, the best customer service, EVAAAR, of any company I've dealt with. EEK!

I'm guessing with these you need to run an o2 spacer or a simulator?

Sigh, no word yet. Last I heard he told me over the phone that he's been very busy in general and that he'd also be posting/releasing the long jpipe around the same time..

Man I hope in a couple weeks the PCDs will be out, just ordered a new floor jack to give me 24" of clearance under the car. Hopefully the install of these will be a time consuming breeze.

Update: We are behind schedule due to a last minute change. Turns out Honda modified the front precat on some of the newer models. They added an extra mount on the front precat possibly to deal with the higher HP of the new motors. We thought about eliminating it but this might lead to premature PCD failure and we rather not risk it. (learned my lesson with the 3rd gens) The other 3 castings are on schedule. I will post updates as soon as I get them. Here a rendering of the latest design.

Hey Richie, I saw you mention the possibility of offering a resonated version of the PCDs for the 3rd gen, any chance you would offer them for these when they are available? I would prefer not to have any cats but having no rasp from my exhaust note is paramount. If you offered resonated versions of these pcds I would for sure want this option. I’m speculating most would as well; let us know your thoughts on releasing the pcds with resonators. Thanks.

Yes that's right. I'm working with Richie for the test fit sessions. We were able to get the front PCD test fitted but the company sent him the wrong flange design for the other PCD so that was delayed a little. We're still waiting for the new one to come in so we can finish the test fit sessions.

Once this product is in production, I will guarantee you guys the wait for this will definitely be worth it. Richie makes sure every one of his products is in perfect condition and the customer will be 100% satisfied before leaving his shop. Patience is best!!

You know mr Marco, I have seen you be the king of douches on this forum and I don't really care what you think, but this above statement is so ignorant, it's as if you completely disregard the entire aftermarket movement since the days of rat-rods to muscle cars to the sport compact movement of the present.

People buy the cars they like and can afford and live at their means and when they have extra money, they decide to buy things to improve their cars. You don't go get a new wife every time she needs a haircut.

So stop trying to make asinine comments to get feedback, be it good or bad, because everyone already views you as a troll.

+1, I have the utmost confidence in Richie's products and know he is a stand up guy but just a weekly or even semi weekly update on the progress of the project would be very much appreciated by those who invested in the product 6 months ago.

2010_TL any idea on when the new flange will be in?

Sorry about the lack of update guys. These castings have been troublesome. The design was perfect without the extra mount. After adding the extra mount the castings are no longer parallel. Right now the original precat is on its way back to the scanning facility to determine what went wrong. I should get another set of rapid prototypes soon. No worries we will get this done and it will be well worth the wait.

They are all the same, the only issue I foresee is that some cars wont have the extra bracket and the additional mount will go unused.
