Any plans for a CT-E Ice box for TL's?

I took a look on CT's website and saw that they made ice box's for 09 TSX's. Is there any development for 4g TL's?

I can tell you this much. They made one for our 2009 TL-SHAWD that made 16hp. I have been asked several times when they are going to be out. I do not have a good answer. It should be pretty soon.

No they do not have one for the supercharged cars. They removed the box and custom made a metal block of plate next to the engine and the hood acts as the lid.

Just spoke with a rep from CT-engineering and they informed me that they are going to be selling the ice box which is completed (in the manual 6spd) and within the next 2 weeks will be tested on an automatic. Should be avaliable soon!!

Well when he said the ice box is already "completed" I can't imagine i'd be long. The rep took my number and told me he'd keep me posted.

This is starting to sound alot like the wait for the long promised ICEBOX for the 2nd gen CL's. They did finally come out (6 speeds first if I recall), but the waiting is the bitch.

I don't think CT-E is really known for their "quick to market" parts. But when they do come out with stuff, it's usually top notch.

The last RSX rolled off the production line 5 years ago. Does it have to take that long to develop aftermarket parts ?

Looks like we need to do an update for the 2009+ TL airbox...The intake needed a last minute change which required new molds and re-testing of parts. We are shooting for a late summer/early fall release for the intake.

The prototype intakes that we made performed awesome. 16-18 whp while remaning fairly quiet and emmisions legal with no check engine light. Rob at Lynwood can vouch for this.

We have way too much time and money wrapped up in this intake to turn back now. Sorry for the long wait, it will be worth it.

I have a question.

CT-E produced one for the 2nd Gen TL.
CT-E is producing one for the 4th Gen TL.

What happened to the 3G?

If you don't mind me asking what kind of last minute change was required?

Because new molds and re-testing sounds like a code for even more waiting
