What to do??? Need opinions/advice please!

ok so I just bought a 4G TL after my 3G got wrecked. I did go ahead and buy the TL with tech to get the premium sound and I am more than satisfied with it. But, my dilemma is whether I should take out all my audio components from my previous car (the 3G) and put them into my new car. Again, I did buy the tech package mainly for the ELS system because I did not want to deal with new rattles and issues after installing a new system. However, my previous car's system was so nice...and everytime I sit in my 4G I'm always thinking how awesome and nice it might sound in this car. I had Focal speakers and a JL Audio 12w6 and an alpine ?pdx5? (forgot the model #). What do you guys think? Im just afraid that if I take it to an installer and they dont put everything back together correctly, that Im going to encounter alot of issues like rattles. I took my 3G TL to a local shop that I had dealt with previously when I working for a Honda dealership and then took it to Car Toys for more work. And I just kept dealing with new rattles, etc.

My only thing is if I do sell my speakers and sub, Im afraid I might regret it and then go and upgrade later and end up paying more.

All opinions are appreciated!

Thanks!

also, im sure this has been discussed before or elsewhere, but what are the size of all the speakers in the 4G TL with tech?

any 5.1 amps that are on the market that can allow me to keep my 5.1?

thanks!

STP-if everything from your 3G will fit and work in the 4G, give it a try. You've spent a lot of money on these components. If they'll transfer, why not!

I'd vote no. The 4G sound system is already considered one of the best out there today. From my experience, no matter how good is the shop, rattles will be there.

I would vote no. If you bought the tech for the sound system, why change. If you were going to change you could have bought the non-tech and saved money.

dynamat the car while installing new audio toys?

worth a try to see if any or all of the 3G audio add ons will fit. acura's are known for their rattles. everyone's perception of the audio system is going to be individual. yes, acura stereo's in stock form are really good for most...the audiophiles might be a bit more particular. its kind of like trying to keep your car clean and the paint buttery smooth: just wash and wax which would be fine for most (well a wash would be), or a full hard core detail to really bring that paint out and always looking at your baby the way it was meant to be seen!
