I got a small little issue with my bluetooth pairings. Everytime I step inside my vehicle and my iPhone pairs up with the navi, the phone goes onto silent mode by itself. Granted when a call comes the navi would ring and notify me, but there is no sound notification at all for emails or text messages. I'm confused if this is the iPhone or the navi issue.

Any input or help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

 

For some reason, those sounds (text, email etc) are only broadcast on the bluetooth audio input.

I have the same issue with my clock radio at home, if I have my phone docked, the text/notifications will only sound if the radio is on.
