i got a 2010 SH can anybody tell me what accessory do i need to install and replace my stock 8 sub with JL 8 sup? thank you very much.....

 

What do you mean by accessory? There is noting from the dealerships, but you should talk to a reputable stero shop and see what they can offer you. And don't get upset if you have problems with your other speakers and the dealership won't warranty them

 

I ran a power lead through the hood latch passthrough in the fender well all the way to the trunk, and put a single 12" Premier sub in a small enclosure with an inexpensive 1000watt D block Pioneer AMP. Using a speaker level output to RCA converter, I spliced into the subwoofer leads (accessible from trunk without removing anything) to get my signal to the sub.

It's not too much bass, makes the rock drums hit harder, gives a fuller sound, and can be cranked up on the bass driven hip-hop/R&B stuff to really fill the cabin.

Total investment was like $250 or something, but in my case, it was all stuff I had laying around. I also put it on quick-disconnects in case I need my trunk - otherwise I just leave it cargo netted down off to the side. Hoping a JL stealthbox gets made for it, but not holding my breath....
