I believe a 20A fuse is sufficient, and I suggest you use one that is not critical to the operation of your vehicle if it does happen to blow.

A few 20A suggestions...

#03 - Washer
#20 - Moonroof
#19 - Driver's Power Seat Sliding
#21 - Driver's Power Seat Reclining

Or if you feel more comfortable using a 15A...

#23 - Front ACC Socket

thanks man. now i just have to find a facking spot to push my power wire thru! that firewall is just ridiculous! i cant believe its so cramped.

and i gotta prob downsize my box cause it just doesnt fit 3 tens

I ran it through my driver side wheelwell. Remove the wheel and the plastic cover and you'll see the cable from the hood release lever coming through. I pulled out the grommit and fed it through there. Before you put anything back together make sure the cable for the lever still moves freely. I think I used 8 gauge wire which still allowed for movement.

ohhhh no wonder i couldnt find where it was running through, i didnt realize it was behind the fender liner. thanks for the heads up!
