Can't figure out how to have titles in my CD's. I searched the forums and found a thread saying to burn through iTunes and set cd text but when I tried. It didn't work. I also don't think my gracenotes would work either because my CD's are fairly new. Any suggestions?

 

I personally use NERO to burn MP3's to a CD-RW and then play the burned CD-RW in the TL. I have found that even if the CD is not in the Gracenote database, it will read the data created when the MP3's were burned by NERO. Another cool thing about using NERO is that you can apply the equalization filter when you burn the disk to really make the sound come alive. It makes a BIG difference.

 

I just tried burning using Toast (since I have a mac) and selected CD-Text. Still nothing...

Going to try and upgrade to the latest gracenote and maybe that'll do something.

 

Not sure, but you've got to this that there is a way to do that.

 

Upgraded to the new gracenote. Tried doing it again. Nothing. Guess I'll just stick to my iPod and leaving it in the car lol.

 

How did you get the new Gracenote database? My system is showing that it was to have been updated in January, but they seem to have let that slide (again).

 

I don't think my database was updated since 09 so I just updated it to the most recent one. It was the 2013 one.
