Stereo Install '09 SH-AWD
I am currently upgrading my entire stereo system and I have had a couple of people ask for pictures as I go along.
The first thing I did was remove all door panels, rear seat, deck lid, and all trunk linings. I installed dynamat on both interior surfaces of the doors (inside of the outer skin, and where the stock moisture barrier was).

Factory Amp
Tapped into the factory amp and connected my hi level converter (turns speaker wire into RCA plugs). Don't worry, it will be nice and pretty when I finish and put the trunk lining back in. More to come tonight/tomorrow when I connect the sub amp as well.
Sorry for not posting any new pics yet, been working late and haven't gotten to spend much time on this project during the week. I did finish it up this afternoon and will post the pictures tomorrow morning. To answer a few questions about the car and the complete setup:
The car does have the tech package and I am still using factory head unit. As far as I know there isn't an adapter offered that will allow the use of an aftermarket head unit. I wanted to keep the factory one anyway just to be sure I don't lose any of the functionality of the tech package.
I put a set of MB Quart 6 1/2" componets in the front doors (tweeters mounted in the factory locations in A pillars) and a set of memphis audio 6 1/2" componets in the rear deck. I removed the 4" speakers from the rear doors and covered the openings with dynamat. The factory center channel is still operational since I have the ability to simply turn it down with the audio controls and therefore not have to worry about blowing it.
The newly added componets are powered by an Alpine 4 channel amp and sound amazing (and yes, HUGE difference over the stock setup).
I removed the factory sub and replaced it with a Kicker comp 10" sub in the enclosure I spent three days working on. It is powered by a mono Alpine amp running at 150W rms.
Given the crazy contours of the trunk, I only had room for one subwoofer with the correct volume but if I really wanted to, I could have extended the front of the box a bit farther out and shortened the height (to fit under center passenger seat belt) in order to put both subs in. I will say that I am very pleased with the sound I get from the one sub.
Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow for you all to see and I wish you all the best of luck in your stereo endevors

Thanks eggy, I did want to port them but I was not sure what to tune them to so I just sealed it up. I am surprised at how well the sealed box sounds. If you have any info on where these 10s like to be tuned to, let me know.
Because the best factory stereos can't compete with the sound quality of the worst aftermarket set ups I have ever installed. This set up I just put in here could compete with some systems that I have won contests with.
Ever heard the phrase "the best turd is still a turd"? That is how I feel about factory sound systems.
No offense intended
