Wow. Too much for me, but it would be a "Cool" factor to have if I ever wanted to pound some bass.

Don't see too many outside of the common jl and type r setups. I too said I was getting out the audio scene but sum how I got dragged back in. Lots of work to be done.

I just finished my first real audio build. Done all my wiring, fabricating, and I could not be happier with it. Mine is still conservative, with only one ID Max 12 (infinte baffle) and a JL XD600/1. I still would like to run Active in the future to play with tuning some.

There's a couple that's out, but would need sum mods. Mechman jus to name one. It's not common like say how they would have so many for a gm vehicle. Singer is one that jus came out prices are more cheaper. Possible go with them if they can get one to fit.

What kind of box do you have it in?
I have mine in box that takes up bout half of my trunk facing the back seats and the second i click the button the open my trunk everything is two times louder and crazier.
Is yours like that?

I chose to go with a sealed box. Takes up a lot less room. My sub only needs 1 cubic foot so it will fit nicely behind the back seat and still give me lots of room

I watch this video everyday. My TL is actually under construction and should be done this week. Just wondering, how much trunk rattle do you have?

Why is this cool? I just don't understand the need to rattle the crap out of a car for no reason whatsoever.

I was sitting in a drive through one time behind an old ratted out Cadillac. It had one of these stereos in it that everyone on the road has to feel (like this one in this thread)...eventually, while waiting for their order, the rear bumper literally rattled off the car.

Don't you have excessive rattling in the car even when not "ground pounding" as you called it?

More and more people suffer premature hearing loss as they get older because of the loud bass and pounding music. You will become tone deaf and will not be able to hear high pitches and soft tones like you once did. This will start to effect them when they get into their 40"s.

And it gets worse as you get older, into your 50's. I don't go to concerts any longer.. or where loud music is playing... I was concert fanatic when I was younger

Well the idea here is to reduce rattle with the dampening which is why I asked how much he had to determine possible problem areas Its all about SQL though

I'm not talking about speaker rattle. I'm talking about the rest of the car rattling after you run hours and hours of unnecessary, extreme vibration through the rest of the vehicle.
