Sleepy stereo

Since the weather got cold, my 2013 TL's audio system has decided it has to warm up before it will play. When I turn the car on, the audio remains silent for at least two minutes, irrespective of input source (FM, XM, disc, iPod, etc.). After about 2 minutes, it produces sound, but only for about 20 seconds before going silent again. This repeats for 6 or 7 times. Then it plays normally.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Most likely you have a cold solder joint in the amp. Im afraid this is going to require a trip to the dealer. I read this forum everyday, and I do not recall anyone with this issue.

The dealer scratched their collective heads and called tech support in California. Their solution was to replace the amplifier. That has fixed the problem - at least for now.
