I had virtually the same experience (and outcome) for Sirius + Nav/Traffic).

I was going to post about the same offer, cause I also received it via mail few days ago. Do you get traffic and weather info with this plan?

I called to renew my 2 radios and told them I wanted the 3 years for $99 or the 5 years for $149 special. He asked if I had the paper and I said that I got rid of it. He said my serial numbers did not qualify for that special and offered 2 options both costing more than I am paying now. I told him I am a customer for almost 20 years and deserve better! I argued but to no avail until I said I'm considering cancelling because there are a lot of other options for music.

He said he would talk to his supervisor and came back with the same offer I had last year.....$77 including taxes and fees. I went ahead and signed up. I told him I felt discriminated because I couldn't get the deal I wanted based soley on serial numbers!

This is the usual pattern. You have to say the magic "cancel" word to get a decent price. Last year, they actually lowered my price.

What a business model!

So I'm getting a lot of pushback on the $77 deal. They are offering two plans that are about $103-105. One is a promotional rate good for 12 months and another is an Advantage plan which locks in a rate for 12 months min and auto renews every month and you are notified if the rate changes ahead of time.

I've wasted a lot of time chatting on line trying to renew. Guess I'm going to have to call and see what I can do. Any phone numbers better than others for success???

Ultimately wound up calling this evening and again after some back and forth - I got the $77.28 rate for the year for my three vehicles. Sigh, but

I went for this deal too, when I first got the car. They gave me 6 months free and then around 7ish with taxes per month. My only beef is the in and out reception. Here is Georgia, we have a lot of back roads I travel and it is spotty at times. The other thing being that about half of the channels are sports/comedy/talk radio... I just want the music... But that's my take on it.
