Can you add the factory remote start to a base TL. I have searched the forum but maybe I'm just searching wrong. Haven't seen anything about this.

 

Yes but I think it will be expensive as the kits maybe hard to find. I have it on my Tech 2009 when I got it used and it's a nice feature. Lastly, there are a lot of 3rd party ones that are just as good and have better features. Notable features:

• There is an extra key fob to carry around
• Remote Start will turn on Heated Mirrors
• Change circulation to internal only so no exhaust will get in cabin
• Auto-set temp (summer or winter)
• Increments to 10 minutes
• Engine will stop if you open door or trunk (kinda sucks), you need to re-start car when you get in.
