So my son has a 2012 TL, with Nav, and the 'power amplifier' fuse keeps blowing. The radio appears to be on, all lights and radio indicators appear normal but there is no sound at all. The dealership said it's the amp. I did get the correct part number for that amp but I'm having a heck of a time finding out where this thing is at on the car. If I could find out where on the vehicle it is, and any other helpful info you fine folks might know, I would be very grateful.

I have the same 2012 TL with nav. The amplifier is in the trunk, passenger side, above the wheel well. It is just under the trunk liner.
Consider replacing with an upgraded factory amp from Phantom Audio. They will send you one for 565$. I have one and it is a little louder and much clearer especially at the louder violume settings.

The hardest part of changing the amp out is getting the trunk liner out. Just be slow and careful not to tear it up. After you get the trunk liner out, it is 3 bolts and a plug.
