Rear deck wiring - Line out converter

Hey everyone!

I'm going to install a line out converter tomorrow morning so I can add a little extra bass. I'm looking to wire directly to the rear deck subwoofer. Anyone have a wiring diagram on which wires are positive and negative so I can wire it properly.

Thanks!!

Guess I'll figure it out on my own!

Well in case anyone is wondering I measured the current on the wires, the Gray wire is positive and the light blue is negative if anyone is installing a line out converter.

I will keep it in mind, thank you since nobody else could offer up. I might be installing one soon in my TL.

So did you still need a line out converter even that you were connecting to sub-woofer? I just thought that sub-woofer was low output already.

if the levels going into the amp were variable you would be able to tag the sub channel and run directly into an amp but they are not, the are fixed level inputs which means the factory amp actually controls the volume changing, , so grab the sub channel on the out put side of the amp and put it into your highlevel, and set the gain by measuring the voltage output on the rca's of the high level with a multimeter
