Nope, I've had this issue on my '12 Tech for the past 2 years or so. Its so damn annoying. Only happens with HFL, not music.... It sucks.

 

 

Don't know if this is related to what you're experiencing, but I sometimes get random disconnects from the phone, only to reconnect later. Doesn't happen often (maybe 10 times over the last 5 years), but ironically, happened again this morning. Specifically, I called the local radio station through HFL (connecting with a Pixel 2 XL) to let them know about an accident on my route. The call immediately disconnected, as often happens with calls to a radio station, as the line is always busy. System reverted back to music, but then about 15 seconds later, the music paused, and I heard the tail end of a "Hello". That's similar to what's happened in the past...call seems to be dropped, music goes back on, and then all of a sudden the call is back.

 

You're lucky. This happens about 2x weekly for me if I'm on the phone 1x a day.... It's really really annoying. I wish they could have fixed this issue. If it gets worse i'm gonna replace the bluetooth unit. It's very easily accessible, right on the bottom of the whole center controller stack.
